From an AJ fan, here are a few tips for buying AJs on Litbuy

# A Few Tips on Buying AJs via Litbuy from a Die-Hard AJ Fan

Man, these AJs are seriously addictive.

I’ve collected Hiroshi Fujiwara collaborations, limited editions, the Reverse Swoosh series, the Big Lightning, and the three-way collaboration Lightning. A whole bunch. Seriously, a whole bunch.

Then someone asked me, “Is buying AJs on Litbuy reliable?” I said, “It depends.”

Let’s start with the Big Lightning: the Fragment x AJ1 High from 2014.

The best versions are the LJR and FK batches. LJR has dominated the top-tier market for high-top AJ1s. The fit, the curve of the Swoosh, and the depth of the lightning bolt stamp on the heel—it’s spot-on.

Authentication tip: Check the “waistline” curve on the heel. Low-end fakes have a straight heel. LJR has a beautiful curve. Seriously, beautiful.

The three-way collaboration low-top: Travis Scott x Fragment x AJ1 Low.

Best versions: PK 4.0, ZOK, LJR.

PK 4.0: Highest overall rating. The midsole has a distressed yellow finish, tuned to closely match the authentic version. It doesn’t look overly yellow.

ZOK: Slightly more expensive. The leather has a suede-like texture, with a soft, velvety feel—like stroking a kitten’s ears. The fabric thread count and leather thickness are top-tier.

LJR: The most authentic silhouette. The leather is just a tiny bit stiffer. Seriously, just a tiny bit.

Triple-brand collaboration high-top: Travis Scott x Fragment x AJ1 High.

Best version: CZ batch, LJR.

CZ batch, “factory-grade leather” version. Blue, Military Blue. Under different lighting, it has a deep, rich tone. Almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

LJR has the most stable supply. The height of the Swoosh is highly consistent. Perfect for players with a fixation on symmetrical aesthetics.

Now, a recommendation.

Collectors, go straight for the authentic pair. The goal is to collect, not to wear. Seriously, for collecting.

For everyday wear, buy the higher-tier versions. PK 4.0, ZOK, LJR, CZ. These are more than enough to wear. Seriously, more than enough.

For those on a budget, the standard versions. The Hiroshi Fujiwara collaboration series has insanely high standards for reproductions. The standard versions are sufficient for wear. They meet the needs.

I’ve collected so many. I know the difference between authentic and reissues.

Authentic pieces have a story. They have history. They have that certain vibe.

Reissues offer value for money. They have quality. They have that certain look.

It depends on what you want.

If you want the story, the history, and that certain vibe—go for authentic.

If you want value for money, quality, and that certain look—go for reissues.

Litbuy is an overseas e-commerce site. Not domestic. Seriously, not domestic.

I’ve bought from Litbuy. The high-end versions are really good. Fit, leather, details—all solid.

But you have to know what you want.

For collecting, go for the authentic. For wearing, go for the high-end version. If your budget is tight, go for the standard version.

It’s that simple.

Man, these AJs are seriously addictive. But getting hooked isn’t so bad.
