Real QC Video – A Real Quality Inspection from an Italian Buyer

# Real QC Video – A Real Quality Inspection from an Italian Buyer

On the afternoon of March 28, a Litbuy seller sent me a link. They said it was a quality control video of an SP5DER hoodie purchased by an Italian buyer.

You know SP5DER, right? The one with the spider web logo. The one with the foam print.

At the start of the video, at 0:15, the hoodie is laid flat on a table.

First impression: Holy crap, this spider web print is pretty cool.

You can tell it’s raised; it has a 3D effect. The color… dark gray? Or black? The lighting in the video is a bit dim, so it’s hard to tell.

0:30, close-up of the print being touched.

You can tell it’s raised, not just a regular screen print. It has some thickness, so the texture should feel good.

But… the edges are a bit uneven? In the bottom left corner, one of the spiderweb lines looks a bit smudged.

0:45, flipping to the back.

Solid color, no issues there. Stitching… it’s okay. Not particularly neat, but not bad either.

1:00, close-up of the collar.

Ribbed collar, good elasticity. But the stitching… there seems to be a skipped stitch in one spot. Right there on the left.

1:15, cuffs.

Same ribbed design. Stretch is okay. But… the spider web print on the right cuff doesn’t match the left? Maybe it’s just the angle.

1:30, hem.

Straight stitch, no issues. But… there are a lot of loose threads around the care label. Need to trim them.

2:00, on-body look (model wearing).

Loose fit, dropped shoulder design. The spider web print is on the chest—position is correct.

But… the sizing seems a bit large? It looks a little baggy on the model.

2:30, detail shots.

Is the zipper a YKK? Can’t tell clearly. If so, that’s a plus.

Fleece lining… thickness is decent. Should be warm enough for winter.

3:00, Summary.

Overall… I’d give it a 7 out of 10.

Pros:
– The foam print has a nice texture and a 3D effect
– The fit is spot-on—American-style loose
– The fleece lining is thick and warm
– Price… bought from Litbuy on Weidian in China, so it’s cheap

Cons:
– The edges of the print are a bit uneven (bottom left corner)
– There’s a loose thread at the neckline
– Lots of loose threads; you’ll have to trim them yourself
– Runs large; recommend sizing down

As for litbuy’s customer service… it’s decent. They even filmed a quality control video, so they’re pretty responsible.

But quality control really comes down to luck. My piece is above average—no major issues, but there are some minor flaws.

For Litbuy Sp5der hoodies like this, buying a replica offers better value. The authentic ones are too expensive—it’s not worth it.

As for quality control… I recommend taking a close look at the print and stitching when you receive the item. You can just trim the loose threads yourself, but print issues can’t be fixed.
