Prohibited Items Statement

This list has been compiled in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and the requirements of competent authorities, outlining the goods and services prohibited for sale on the LITBUY platform. The platform reserves the right to add, delete, or modify this list based on legal provisions, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. However, LITBUY does not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of this list. Final interpretation shall be subject to current laws and regulations, as well as the latest announcements from the Alibaba platform.

I. Drugs, Precursor Chemicals, and Drug Paraphernalia

• Various highly toxic substances;
• Opium, morphine, heroin, cannabis, and other addictive narcotics or psychotropic drugs;
• Alcohol, tobacco products, smoking mixtures, e-cigarettes, and e-liquids;
• Synthetic drugs (e.g., “K2” and other synthetic incenses).

II. Explosives, Hazardous Goods, and Chemicals

• Explosives: All types of gunpowder, explosives, and related products, including ignition and detonation devices such as detonators and fuses;
• Pesticides: Pesticides listed in the Management Catalogue of Import and Export Pesticides of the People’s Republic of China;
• Asbestos;
• Chemicals containing harmful or prohibited substances, such as 1,2-dibromoethane, aldehydes, dioxins, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethane, and trichlorotrifluoroethane;
• Silica sand, quartz sand, and other natural sands;
• Animals, plants, and their products containing dangerous pathogens, pests, or other harmful organisms;
• Food, medicine, or other commodities harmful to human or animal health, or goods originating from epidemic areas.

III. Firearms, Ammunition, and Accessories

Including all types of firearms, imitation weapons, ammunition, and explosives. Furthermore, the export of precious Chinese medicinal materials specifically prohibited for export is banned, such as musk, toad venom, tiger bone, rhinoceros horn, bezoar, etc. (Except for certain traditional medicines containing trace amounts of musk or toad venom, such as Musk Huanyang Plaster or Liushen Pills; however, any product containing rhinoceros horn or tiger bone components is included).

IV. Medical Devices

• Syringes (with or without needles), metal needles, suture needles, catheters, and cannulas;
• ECG recorders, ultrasound diagnostic equipment (Type B, color, or otherwise), MRI scanners, nuclear imaging equipment, patient monitors, and UV/infrared devices;
• Dental drills, dental chairs with integrated equipment, and other dental instruments;
• Medical and dental instruments, including condoms, prescription glasses, colored contact lenses, HIV/diabetes/pregnancy test kits, implants, and hospital or clinical equipment;
• Other ophthalmic, surgical, or veterinary instruments, X-ray equipment, dialysis machines, anesthesia equipment, blood transfusion and endoscopic equipment, and any medical diagnostic tools not listed.

V. Products for Illegal Use

• Radio transceivers and encrypted communication devices;
• Network storage lockers, torrent sharing platforms, file sharing libraries, and Usenet providers;
• Malware or spyware providers;
• Chip modification devices or “black boxes” used to alter or disable restrictions on computer or entertainment systems.

VI. Currency and Collectibles

• National currency;
• Foreign currency and related securities;
• Counterfeit currency and securities;
• Precious cultural relics and artworks prohibited for export;
• Precious metals, such as gold, silver, and their products;
• Platinum in the form of plates, flakes, raw materials, or powder.

VII. Animals, Plants, and Hunting Tools

• Endangered and precious animals and plants (including specimens), seeds, and breeding materials listed in the Catalogue of Species of Wild Fauna and Flora Prohibited from Import and Export;
• Products made from tiger bone, rhinoceros horn, bezoar, musk, ephedra (for medicinal or fragrance use), and seaweed (fresh, dried, or frozen);
• Unique or rare species, such as white shellfish, penguin shellfish, and white butterfly shellfish;
• Logs treated with paint, colorants, or preservatives (including teak, oak, redwood, camphor, etc.);
• Charcoal and peat exceeding specific size specifications;
• Untreated or chemically treated forest litter;
• Other animals, plants, and their products subject to inspection and quarantine according to the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on the Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine.

VIII. Items Endangering National Security or Containing Offensive Information

• Publications, films, audio recordings, or digital media harmful to China’s politics, economy, culture, or morals;
• Materials involving state secrets;
• Unauthorized or pirated audiovisual, software, or multimedia content.

IX. Gambling or Gaming Equipment

Television game consoles, coin-operated gaming machines, and other electronic devices related to gambling.

X. Other Items Prohibited for Export by Customs

XI. Counterfeit and Shoddy Goods

Including goods with counterfeit trademarks or goods falsely using the names or addresses of other companies.
