For summer outfits, look no further than Bape sets – A style review from Litbuy

Let me be upfront with you—I bought this set on Litbuy. I was scrolling through the Litbuy spreadsheet when I suddenly couldn’t look away; the moment I saw that price, I knew I had to snag it 😅 It took me less than ten minutes from seeing it to placing the order—those in the know get it.

First photo – Full-body portrait

This is the cover photo I used for my WeChat Moments. Overall, the black-and-white color scheme looks really clean—a white T-shirt paired with black shorts is a classic combo that needs no explanation. What I love most about this outfit is the length of the top—it falls just three or four centimeters past the waistband of the shorts, so it doesn’t bunch up at the waist. This is where Bape’s cut really shines. It’s not a straight, boxy design; the waist is slightly tapered, so you don’t end up looking like a barrel. When I checked the sizes on the Litbuy spreadsheet, I was worried I’d order too big, but when I tried it on, it fit perfectly. The white base isn’t that stark, bleached-out white—it has a slight beige undertone, which makes it look more durable and gives it a better texture. The width of the shorts is really well-balanced—I remember buying a shark-print set from another brand before where the shorts were so wide they looked like a skirt, and they’d flap around like a fan when I walked, which looked pretty silly. Not with this set. The width gives you just enough room to move without being too exaggerated. Pair them with a pair of white Air Force 1s and hit the streets—you know what I mean when I say you’ll turn heads 🔥

Second photo – Close-up, front view

Take a closer look at the shark head print. Pay attention to the lines of the teeth—they aren’t just slapped on as a single block; each tooth has distinct, defined edges. I’ve worn and washed this shirt over a dozen times, and there isn’t a single crack or patch of peeling fabric. I really want to praise the ribbing on the collar—it’s not the cheapest single-layer kind, but a thickened, reinforced version that stays in perfect shape even after being pulled on and off repeatedly. The tiny embroidered Bape logo on the left chest has incredibly tight stitching—it’s not the kind that’s loose and falls apart at the slightest tug. The Litbuy spreadsheet listed stock and prices for several sizes at the time. I debated between M and L for a while, but ultimately went with L—the slightly looser fit actually looks better. The print on this set has real depth to it; it’s super dimensional, not the flimsy kind that peels off after a couple of washes.

Page 3 – Back

The back is the main reason I bought this set—I’m not going to beat around the bush. That huge shark head on the back stretches from the shoulders all the way down to just about the waist, and the placement is really well thought out. Some sets have the design printed too high on the back, making it look like you’re carrying a turtle shell on your shoulders. The placement on this one is just right; the shark’s open mouth is roughly between the shoulder blades. As you can see from the photos, the back design covers a substantial area, so it immediately catches the eye of anyone walking behind you. Personally, I think there’s something special about wearing a set and having people recognize the Bape logo from behind rather than from the front. Plus, if you look closely, the curve of the shark’s tail on the back flows seamlessly into the hem of the garment—it’s not just a haphazard finish after the design is printed. That’s why, when I saw this style on Litbuy, even though it was significantly more expensive than a regular T-shirt, the craftsmanship alone made it worth the price difference.

Fourth photo – Side-view half-length portrait

In this side view, I want to highlight the fabric’s structure. Some white T-shirts feel flimsy and limp—they cling to your stomach when you stand and bunch up around your waist when you sit, making you look heavier. But this one is different; you can see that the fabric holds its shape and has its own structure. You can also tell from the cuffs—the sleeves don’t just hang limply on your arms, but instead hold a nice curve, which really flatters the silhouette of your arms. And one thing I especially love is that even though this shirt is structured, it doesn’t feel stiff to the touch. It’s soft where it should be—it has that structured yet comfortable feel. In the summer, the worst thing about clothes is when they stick to your skin after you sweat, but this fabric doesn’t do that. Even if you break a sweat, it won’t cling to your skin—it dries right up when the breeze hits it. I even wore this set to a hot pot dinner without any mishaps 🥵. This was actually my biggest concern before placing the order on the Litbuy spreadsheet—I was worried a plain white T-shirt might be too sheer or too flimsy. When it arrived, I realized I’d completely overthought it; the white isn’t see-through at all, and you can’t tell what color underwear I’m wearing underneath.

Image 5 – Close-up of seated pose

Fashion bloggers rarely show you what they look like when they’re sitting down, right? But that’s the most authentic slice of everyday life. Take a look at this photo: when you sit down, the shorts naturally ride up a bit—roughly to the middle of your thighs. This length is just right when you’re seated; it’s not too short to reveal too much, nor too long to bunch up in a wrinkled mess behind your knees. The fabric around the thighs isn’t too tight either; Bape has left plenty of room here, so those with thicker thighs can rest easy. The pocket placement is also well-thought-out—when you sit down, slipping your hands into your pockets feels natural, and the pockets never feel too far forward or too far back. The small Bape logo tag at the hem peeks out just a little when you’re sitting—a perfect, subtle detail 💯. And the natural wrinkles in the hem of the top when you sit down show that the fabric has some weight to it; otherwise, it wouldn’t have that kind of drape. I wore this set all day—from the office to the subway to a hot pot restaurant—and the comfort was spot-on. I never felt the urge to rush home and change out of these pants.

One last thing: Bape stock has been updating frequently on the Litbuy spreadsheet lately, and the prices are more reasonable than elsewhere. I waited a few days for my order to arrive, but as soon as I tried it on, I knew it was worth the wait. A pure white Bape set is genuinely refreshing to wear in the summer, and the black-and-white color-blocking isn’t as heavy as an all-black outfit. If you’re still debating what summer set to buy, take my word for it—just go for this one. You won’t regret it 🧢🔥
